Brenntag opens shared services centre in Łódź, seeks 200 staff

German chemical distributor Brenntag has opened a Shared Services Centre (SSC) in the City Gate complex in Łódź, Poland. The centre will provide finance‑related processing for the company’s operations across the EMEA region, covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Brenntag plans to employ around 200 people at the site, including experienced specialists and junior staff in finance and accounting. Language proficiency is valued, with demand for English, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, French, Czech, Romanian and Hungarian skills. More than 70 employees have already joined, and the company offers hybrid work arrangements, a benefits package and opportunities for career development. The Łódź centre follows similar SSCs launched earlier in Asia‑Pacific and the Americas as part of Brenntag’s global shared‑services strategy.
