Breno Bidon to remain at Corinthians after Besiktas talks end
Midfielder Breno Bidon will remain at Corinthians after negotiations with Turkish club Besiktas were terminated. Although Besiktas expressed interest in the 21-year-old and signaled a potential offer between 18 and 20 million euros, the club failed to formalize a written proposal.
Bidon's agent, Fernando Brito of Dodici Sports, stated that the decision to end talks was based on a lack of security regarding the Turkish project. The delay in formalizing the offer caused dissatisfaction within the player's staff, particularly given the imminent closing of the Turkish transfer window on September 4.
The potential sale of Bidon was viewed as a possible solution to alleviate Corinthians' financial difficulties, as the club reported a deficit of R$ 246 million in the first half of the year and faces various financial pressures.
