Brentford forward Kaye Furo has undergone surgery following an injury, ruling him out of the club’s Carabao Cup match against Reading. Head coach Keith Andrews expressed frustration over the timing, noting that the 19-year-old was in excellent form and was expected to start the third-round fixture.

Furo, who joined Brentford permanently from Club Brugge in January 2026, had recently been named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for August.
