Brentford rejects Arsenal enquiry for winger Kevin Schade

Arsenal made an enquiry for Brentford winger Kevin Schade during the summer transfer window as the club sought a replacement for Gabriel Martinelli. Following the sale of Martinelli to Al-Hilal for a fee of up to €70 million, Arsenal's management sought to bolster their left-wing options.

Brentford reportedly rebuffed the approach with a firm stance, indicating they had no intention of selling the 24-year-old German international. The club's resistance was reportedly so strong that they would not have entertained offers even exceeding the €75 million Manchester United paid for Bryan Mbeumo last year. Schade is viewed as a central pillar of Brentford's current project and is highly valued by the club's management.
