Brescello farmer reported for attacking neighbor's tractor and blocking roads
A 68-year-old man from Viadana has been reported to the Reggio Emilia Prosecutor's Office following a series of violent disputes with a neighbor in Brescello. The conflict, reportedly stemming from disagreements over agricultural land boundaries, escalated in early July when the suspect allegedly threw stones at a neighbor's tractor. The attack shattered the vehicle's cabin glass and caused facial injuries to the farmer.
In early August, the victim reported further acts of obstruction. The suspect allegedly blocked access to the fields by parking his car across the road and placing large branches and tree trunks in the path to prevent the passage of agricultural machinery. The man faces charges of personal injury, property damage, and private violence.
