Brescia hosts Cammino Day to promote community health

Asst Spedali Civili organized the Cammino Day Territoriale at Parco Ducos in Brescia on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The event is part of a broader initiative to promote active lifestyles and prevent chronic diseases through physical activity.

Following this event, local walking groups will host free community sessions from October 3 to October 14, 2026. Supported by Ats Brescia, the project utilizes 26 walking groups across the Asst Spedali Civili territory, including seven in Brescia, involving approximately 950 participants.

During the event, health professionals provided free screenings for blood pressure, blood glucose, and oxygen saturation. The program includes guided exercises such as warming up, strength training, balance, and cooling down to improve physical functionality and support active aging.
