Brescia police arrest man for illegal reentry after expulsion

A 32-year-old Albanian man has been arrested in Brescia after illegally re-entering Italy despite a prior expulsion order. The individual had previously been escorted to his country of origin and was subject to a five-year ban on re-entering Italian territory.

Following a routine patrol by the State Police, the man was identified and taken to the Immigration Office of the Questura. Checks against the Ministry of Interior's database confirmed his irregular status and the violation of the previous deportation decree. He has been transferred to the ‘Nerio Fischione’ prison and remains at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office.

In response to the violation, the Questore of Brescia, Paolo Sartori, has issued a new order for removal from national territory. The authorities intend to proceed with a new expulsion and escorted return to his country of origin once the individual has served his legal sentence.
