Brescia police charge woman for repeated refusal to pay restaurant bills

A 57-year-old woman has been reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office for aggravated and continuous fraudulent insolvency in Brescia, Italy. According to the State Police, the woman, who is homeless and originally from Campania, allegedly consumed food and beverages at several establishments in the historic center before refusing to pay by contesting the quality of service.

Investigations revealed that this was not an isolated incident; four other local businesses had filed similar complaints against her. Following the latest incident, where staff prevented her from leaving until police arrived, Brescia Police Commissioner Paolo Sartori issued a mandatory expulsion order, banning her from returning to the municipality of Brescia for four years.
