Brescia reaches agreement on municipal swimming pool usage

Brescia municipal authorities and local swimming clubs have reached an agreement regarding the allocation of water space in city-owned pools. The resolution follows months of tension between the administration and various aquatic sports organizations over the criteria for space assignment for the 2026-2027 season.

The new framework aims to balance the needs of competitive sports, youth development, and basic community activities. Giorgio Lamberti, president of Gam Team, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stating that the period of confrontation has ended and conditions for a collaborative relationship between sports clubs, the municipality, and facility managers are now in place.
