Brevard College defeats Methodist in women's soccer

Brevard College women's soccer defeated Methodist University 1-0 at Ives-Lemel Family Field. Catie Barton scored the decisive goal in the 30th minute following a pass from Maddy Loranger, which marked Loranger's first collegiate assist.

Brevard's defense secured its sixth shutout of the season, with goalkeeper Abby Nunez facing only one shot on goal. The victory extends Brevard's regular-season unbeaten streak to 44 matches and maintains a 35-match unbeaten home streak. Methodist goalkeeper Kiera Ferguson recorded five saves during the match, including three in the second half, to prevent a larger deficit.
