Brevard College men's soccer secures consecutive victories

The Brevard College men’s soccer team has maintained a strong start to its 2026 season, securing victories in its recent outings. In a road match against Covenant, the Tornados won 4-1, led by a hat trick from Guilherme Barcelos. Barcelos scored in the 15th, 49th, and 72nd minutes, marking the sixth three-goal performance in the program's NCAA era.

In a subsequent home game against Berea, Brevard secured a 2-0 victory despite a two-and-a-half-hour lightning delay. Barcelos scored his fourth goal of the season in the 32nd minute, and Enrique Sosa added an insurance goal in the 76th minute. The win also served as a Senior Day celebration for the team's 12-member senior class.
