BRI Insurance settles 5.65 billion rupiah marine hull claim for capsized BG Audilia in Lampung

BRI Insurance Indonesia paid a marine hull insurance claim of Rp5.652 billion to PT Poetra Jaya Sukses Mandiri after the cargo vessel BG Audilia capsized in the Sidomulyo waters of Kalianda, Lampung. The payment was processed through the BRI Batam Nagoya branch. PT Poetra Jaya’s director Agus Andri Gunawan said the settlement will help keep the company’s operations running.

In a separate development, BRI Life launched a new insurance product called Asuransi Savara at a ceremony in Bali. The plan combines life, health and future‑fund protection, offering six main benefits including natural‑death, accident‑death, critical‑illness, total‑permanent‑disability, future‑fund planning and policy‑withdrawal. Operational director Andrew Bain highlighted the product’s flexible coverage and its aim to help customers secure retirement, education and other financial goals.
