BRI Youth Champions League 2026 advances to final phase

The BRI Youth Champions League (BYCL) 2026 has reached its final stages, featuring 108 U-14 football teams from 18 BRI Regional Offices across Indonesia. The competition, which ran from February to May 2026, aims to develop young talent by providing competitive experience and fostering discipline, character, and sportsmanship.

Following a regional league phase where teams competed in a standings system, the best teams from each regional office were selected to advance. The competition has narrowed down to the four best teams, consisting of 48 young players, who will compete in a semifinal and final format to determine the 2026 champion.

Aquarius Rudianto, BRI Director of Network and Retail Funding, stated that the tournament is part of BRI's effort to build a sports development ecosystem that provides space for Indonesian youth talent to grow. The program also involves collaboration with the BARCA Academy to enhance talent development.
