Armstrong also revealed that he declined advice from financial advisers to establish his own charitable foundation for tax purposes following Coinbase’s public offering. He expressed concern that such an organization could eventually be steered away from his intended goals by external influences. His stance has drawn support from Elon Musk while facing criticism from others online.
