Brian Austin Green reveals past neurological health crisis

Actor Brian Austin Green has revealed that he suffered a mysterious neurological health crisis approximately a decade ago. During the ordeal, which occurred when he was around 39 or 40 years old, Green experienced stroke-like symptoms that left him unable to walk, talk, read, or write.

Speaking on the “Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson” podcast, the 53-year-old actor explained that he never received a complete diagnosis. However, medical professionals suggested the condition may have been linked to internal inflammation caused by diet and significant emotional stress. Green described the experience as a period where his “brain and my body completely disconnected.”

Recovery took four and a half years, during which Green had to relearn basic functions. He noted that the severity of the symptoms led him to fear for his acting career and consider professional reinvention. Green eventually credited therapy with helping him address lifelong emotional patterns that contributed to his physical collapse.
