Brian Flores leads Vikings defense against former team Dolphins

Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores is set to face his former team, the Miami Dolphins, this Sunday. Flores, who served as the Dolphins' head coach for three seasons, is currently leading a Vikings defense that has allowed the second-fewest points in the league and holds league-leading rates in sacks per pass attempt and third-down conversion prevention.

The matchup carries personal significance as Flores continues his legal battle against the NFL regarding allegations of racially discriminatory hiring practices following his dismissal from Miami. While the Dolphins remain winless, Flores has stated that his focus remains entirely on team preparation rather than the personal nature of the matchup.
