Brian Lanzelotta reports 17 million peso fraud at toilet paper factory
Brian Lanzelotta, a former participant of ‘Gran Hermano’, has reported a 17 million peso fraud involving his toilet paper factory in La Matanza. The incident occurred after a purported client placed the company’s largest order to date: 3,800 bags of toilet paper.
To meet the urgent seven-day deadline, Lanzelotta and his brother worked continuously despite facing production challenges, including machine malfunctions, material delays, and flooding at the warehouse. They successfully produced 3,100 units. The buyer claimed that payment would be made once the goods were loaded onto the truck, asserting that a transfer had been sent to the account of Lanzelotta’s partner.
However, the funds never arrived. The buyer cited bank rejections and promised the money would appear within 48 hours, but bank officials later confirmed that no such transfers existed. The loss has left the business in a precarious position, as Lanzelotta had already committed funds to suppliers and family loans to finance the production materials.
