Brian May and Billy Gibbons feature on new Steve Cropper single

Steve Cropper & The Midnight Hour have released the soulful ballad ‘My Angels Are Calling,’ featuring Queen guitarist Brian May and ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons. The track is part of the posthumous album ‘Watching The Tide,’ released via Provogue / Artone Label Group.

Brian May co-wrote the music and wrote the lyrics for the song, providing lead vocals to sing from Cropper’s perspective. The single also features a guitar solo by Billy Gibbons. The album was recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio C and includes contributions from other notable musicians such as Eric Clapton and Ronnie Wood.
