Brian May and Tony Iommi to feature on William Shatner's metal album

Actor and 'Star Trek' legend William Shatner is releasing a heavy metal album titled ‘What The F Is Heavy Metal?’. The project features high-profile musical collaborations, including Queen guitarist Brian May.

Cleopatra Records confirmed that May will contribute his signature guitar sound to a track and will also handle the mixing for that specific song. While May is not the overall producer of the album—a role held by Adam Hamilton and Brian Perera—his involvement adds significant rock pedigree to the project.

In a recent interview, Brian May also revealed that Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi is expected to appear on the album. May described Shatner as a person full of vitality and ambition, noting that the collaboration was a rewarding experience despite working on the track remotely.
