Brian May reflects on career highlights and rock purity

Queen guitarist Brian May has reflected on the defining moments of his career and his perspective on the rock genre. He identified his performance during Queen's 2002 Golden Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth II as the pinnacle of his professional life. Unlike the band's famous Live Aid set, May favored the adrenaline of performing from the roof of Buckingham Palace without a safety harness, an idea he proposed to producer George Martin.
