Brian Siedlecki departs Saturday Night Live after nearly 30 years

Brian Siedlecki, a longtime music booker for Saturday Night Live, is departing the program after nearly 30 years. NBC reportedly chose not to renew his contract as the show prepares for its 52nd season.

Siedlecki joined the show as an intern in 1996 and rose to become a producer and talent booker. During his tenure, he was responsible for booking a diverse range of musical talent, from legacy icons such as Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen to contemporary artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Olivia Rodrigo. His first reported booking was Nelly Furtado in 2001.

His departure follows the recent announcement that cast member Chloe Fineman is also leaving the show after seven seasons. Longtime bookers Keri Powers and Rebecca Schwartz remain with the production.
