Brico Depot Romania rebrands to BRICO following Altex acquisition

Brico Depot Romania is rebranding to BRICO following its DIY business acquisition by Altex. The company has announced a 50 million euro investment plan over the next three years to modernize its stores, expand its product range, and integrate new technologies, including artificial intelligence for project planning and budgeting.

The rebranding process will be implemented gradually over the next six months. The investment strategy focuses on transforming the business model from a product-centric approach to a solution-based model for home and garden renovation, offering services such as financing, delivery, and assembly. Additionally, the company plans to expand its network, with a new BRICO store scheduled to open in Vaslui later this year.
