BRICS+ Fashion Summit and Bursa Fashion Week expand global reach

The upcoming BRICS+ Fashion Summit is scheduled to take place in Moscow from September 28 to 30, 2026. As an accredited BRICS event, the summit serves as a major networking hub for designers, retailers, and investors across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Previous iterations have hosted experts from 109 countries and over 15,000 attendees.

Turkey remains a significant participant in the summit due to its position as one of the world's top ten ready-to-wear exporters and its integrated production chain. The summit will feature over 40 sessions covering fashion, technology, e-commerce, manufacturing, and investment.

In a separate regional development, the 9th Bursa Fashion Week is expanding its international reach. Led by director Yaşariye Doğan, the event aims to establish Bursa as a global fashion hub. The program includes collections from designers such as Doğan and Azerbaijani designer Gülnara Halilova, as well as Romanian representative Oana Berce.
