BRIDGE project launches cross-border innovation initiative

The BRIDGE project (Boosting Regional Innovation and Development through Growth and Entrepreneurship) has officially entered its implementation phase following the signing of a partnership agreement. The initiative aims to establish a sustainable cross-border innovation system connecting Bar, Živinice, and Slavonski Brod to enhance support for young entrepreneurs and regional business connectivity.

Key activities include modernizing three innovation hubs and developing an AI platform designed to connect entrepreneurs with mentors and investors. The project also features joint training, mentorship, and pilot programs intended to strengthen the innovative capacity and market readiness of at least 150 young entrepreneurs. By unifying existing capacities into a single regional “innovation spine,” the project seeks to improve access to knowledge and new markets.

The total project value is €705,138.60, with the Municipality of Bar contributing €232,003.80. The initiative is being realized under the Interreg VI-A IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027.
