BridgeBio Pharma reports strong Q2 growth driven by Attruby

BridgeBio Pharma reported strong second-quarter results, driven by the growth of its ATTR cardiomyopathy treatment, Attruby. The company reported $222.4 million in net product revenue for the quarter, a significant increase from $71.5 million in the previous year. CEO Neil Kumar noted that the company is in a transition period, characterized by the commercial success of Attruby and the advancement of several late-stage programs.

BridgeBio reaffirmed its global sales guidance for Attruby and Beyonttra, expecting worldwide net sales to exceed $1 billion for the year. The company is also preparing for three potential product launches by mid-2027, with regulatory submissions already underway for programs targeting limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2I, autosomal dominant hypocalcemia type 1, and achondroplasia.

To support these commercial and pipeline investments, BridgeBio completed a $1 billion preferred equity raise to strengthen its balance sheet. Management indicated that Attruby’s growth is being led by first-line, treatment-naive patients, and highlighted data suggesting the treatment may offer kidney-protective effects.
