BridgePrep Academy leases 56,000 square feet in Miami-Dade shopping center

BridgePrep Academy, a charter school network with 19 locations across Florida, has signed a 56,000-square-foot lease at the California Club Shopping Center in Ives Estates, Miami-Dade County.

The property, owned by RK Centers, is located at 750 Ives Dairy Road near Aventura, approximately 15 miles north of Downtown Miami. The new space was previously leased by Waterways Preparatory Academy, part of the public Dade County School District.

Real estate experts note that the deal highlights a shortage of suitable properties for educational operators in the Miami area. The expansion comes amid a surge in demand for private and charter school placements in South Florida following the pandemic.
