Bridgestone announces BATTLAX ADVENTURE A42 motorcycle tyre

Bridgestone Corporation has announced the launch of the BATTLAX ADVENTURE A42, an adventure motorcycle tyre designed for riders who primarily use on-road surfaces. The product is scheduled for sequential global availability starting January 1, 2027.

Building on the foundation of the BATTLAX ADVENTURE A41, the new model aims to improve wet performance, wear life, and comfort. According to company data, the A42 reduces the tyre slip ratio under straight-line acceleration by 14% compared to its predecessor, enhancing stability in rainy conditions.

The new tyre also offers extended durability, with an 18% increase in wear life for the front tyre and a 25% increase for the rear. Additionally, internal testing indicates a 15% reduction in tyre noise due to a larger contact patch, intended to support more comfortable long-distance touring.
