Brazil police arrest fugitives, thieves and a drunk driver in a series of operations
The Military Police captured four justice fugitives in the Litoral Norte region of Rio Grande do Sul, executing three arrest warrants in Torres and one in Tramandaí. The suspects had prior convictions for robbery, theft, drug trafficking and weapons offenses.

In São Sebastião, three men were apprehended hours after robbing a delivery van. The Smart São Sebastião monitoring system helped police locate the suspects, recover the stolen goods and seize illegal drugs found at the hideout.
A police detection dog, Sindy, was seriously injured when two suspects fled a drug‑trafficking operation in Vila Velha, hitting the dog with a stolen motorcycle. The animal was taken for emergency surgery and faces possible paralysis, while one suspect was detained.
