Brigandine Abyss, a turn-based tactical RPG developed by Adglobe and published by NIS America, has been featured in gameplay footage on the Nintendo Switch 2. The title is expected to compete with upcoming releases such as Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.

As a standalone entry in the long-running Brigandine series, the game follows a narrative involving an arcane suit of armor and a betrayal by the general Chaossolus. Players can choose from six playable factions, such as Scarlet Will, to navigate branching storylines. While the game offers improved character interactions and cutscenes compared to its predecessor, Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia, some critiques note that character motivations and story consistency can falter in the later stages of certain scenarios.
