Brighton blocks Galatasaray bid for Baleba while facing competition for Kamiński

Brighton & Hove Albion have set a very high price for defensive midfielder Carlos Baleba, reportedly €80‑95 million. After Galatasaray made an inquiry, the Turkish club withdrew when it could not meet Brighton’s valuation, leaving the 22‑year‑old Cameroonian player at the English club.

Polish forward Jakub Kamiński, who is contracted to 1 FC Köln with a €20 million release clause, is also attracting interest. Brighton is one of the clubs linked to him, alongside German side RB Leipzig and Portuguese champions Benfica. The release clause expires in mid‑July, and negotiations will determine whether the striker moves to the Premier League or stays in the Bundesliga.

Both cases illustrate Brighton’s active role in the European transfer market this summer, with the club firm on its valuation for Baleba and weighing offers for Kamiński.
