Brighton considers loan for defender Igor Júlio

Brighton & Hove Albion has reportedly changed its stance regarding defender Igor Júlio, now considering a loan deal instead of insisting on a permanent sale. This shift follows a lack of advantageous offers for a full transfer.

The 28-year-old defender is currently in negotiations with a club in Germany. However, if those talks fail, interest from Brazilian clubs like Botafogo, Cruzeiro, and Palmeiras may resurface.

Previously, negotiations with Brazilian teams were hindered by Brighton's demand for a permanent sale. Cruzeiro had submitted an official bid, but the English club requested approximately 6 million euros, a figure that exceeded the club's budget. Botafogo had also inquired about the player, but discussions stalled due to the club's preference for a permanent transfer rather than a loan.
