Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen motivates team with coffee promise

Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen has implemented a unique motivational tactic to encourage clean sheets. According to teammate Maxim De Cuyper, Verbruggen promised that if the team keeps a clean sheet, he will arrange for a club sponsor to provide free coffee for the squad.

De Cuyper noted that the incentive is taken seriously by the players, even during matches. Brighton has enjoyed a strong start to the Premier League season, sitting in third place after seven rounds and maintaining a significant defensive record, including a streak of nearly nine hours without conceding a goal.
