Brighton strengthens squad with Nigerian signings Yohanna and David

Brighton & Hove Albion has bolstered its attacking options for the 2026/27 season with the arrival of two Nigerian talents. Zadok Yohanna has completed a £21.5m move from Swedish club AIK, marking the most expensive sale in Swedish club history. The 19-year-old winger is considered a top prospect following a productive spell in Sweden.

Additionally, Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeler has expressed confidence in new signing Promise David. David joins the club on a season-long loan from Belgian side Union St. Gilloise. After scoring 15 goals last season, Hurzeler described David as a natural goalscorer with a “great and very positive character,” suggesting he could potentially feature in the upcoming Premier League match against Aston Villa.
