Brigitte Bardot personal items to be auctioned in Paris

Approximately 285 personal items belonging to the legendary French actress and animal rights activist Brigitte Bardot will be auctioned in Paris on September 21. The auction, organized by the Millon auction house, features items sourced from her residences in Saint-Tropez and her Parisian apartment.

Items up for sale include everyday objects such as straw hats, sunglasses, and nightgowns, as well as more significant pieces like her Olivetti typewriter used to write her autobiography, a poster from the film ‘Et Dieu créa la femme’, and a gold bracelet worn during her wedding to Jacques Charrier. High-value lots include a platinum diamond ring and works by the illustrator Sempé, with estimates ranging from 20 to 10,000 euros.

The proceeds from the sale will be distributed between the Brigitte Bardot Foundation and the actress's only son, Nicolas-Jacques Charrier. Before the auction, the items will be on public display at the Hôtel Drouot in Paris from September 15 to 20.
