Brigitte Macron visits Almudena Cathedral during French State Visit

During the State Visit of French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron to Spain, Brigitte Macron made a surprise visit to the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid. During her time at the temple, she viewed the image of the patron saint of Madrid and was presented with a platinum medal and a book from the cathedral museum.

In conjunction with the diplomatic visit, Queen Letizia attended a reception at the French Embassy in Madrid to bid farewell to the Macrons. The Queen wore a black midi dress by the French brand Sandro, featuring a teardrop neckline with beadwork, paired with gold accessories.
