Brijuni hosts RUTA regional theatre festival

The RUTA festival of regional theatres is scheduled to take place on Brijuni from August 17 to August 26. The program features various regional institutions, including the Belgrade Drama Theatre, the Tivat Culture Center, the Ljubljana Municipal Theatre, the Skopje Drama Theatre, and the Kamerni teatar 55 from Sarajevo.

The festival opens with a production of W. Mouawada’s ‘Every Bird to Its Flock’, directed by Dino Mustafić. Other scheduled performances include Jean-Paul Sartre’s ‘Dirty Hands’, directed by Jug Radivojević, and Marius von Mayenburg’s ‘Ex’, directed by Maruša Kink. The lineup also includes J. Adams’ ‘Gideon’s Knot’ from the Skopje Drama Theatre.
