Brăila Local Police to relocate to new headquarters

The Brăila Municipal Council has approved a project to relocate the headquarters of the Brăila Local Police. The plan involves transferring a property located at 21 Vapoarelor Street from private to public domain to facilitate this move.

The property includes a total land area of 2,031 square meters and six structures. Once the transfer is complete, the buildings will be handed over from the Public Utility Service for Housing and Cemeteries (SUPAFLC) to the administration of the Local Police.

The relocation is deemed necessary because the current headquarters on Orientului Street belongs to the public domain of the Romanian State and is administered by the Brăila County Police Inspectorate. The project includes provisions to relocate a family of tenants currently occupying part of the target site to ensure the building is fully vacated before the handover.
