BRILink Agents expand financial access in Muara Enim
In Muara Enim, South Sumatra, the BRILink Agent program is facilitating increased financial inclusion and economic activity in areas heavily supported by the mining sector. Nova Yulianti, an agent in Tegal Rejo, Lawang Kidul, has expanded her business from a single shop in 2016 to six branches.
Her services include cash withdrawals and deposits, electricity bill payments, vehicle installments, tuition fees, and digital wallet top-ups. The business has provided significant economic stability for her family, enabling her to fund her sibling's university education and improve her household assets.
Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Corporate Secretary Dhanny stated that BRILink Agents are a vital component of the bank's commitment to expanding financial access. The program aims to provide essential services to local communities while creating business opportunities and improving family welfare across various regions.
