BRIN integrates AI and sports science into national athlete development

The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is integrating sports science and artificial intelligence (AI) into Indonesia's national sports development. This initiative aims to optimize athlete performance and strategy through technological advancements in areas such as sports nutrition, supplements, diet, and the development of specialized sports equipment.

BRIN is collaborating with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to align the National Talent Management (MTN) program with the National Sports Grand Design (DBON). This partnership focuses on athlete development from youth levels to elite ranks, covering training, competition, infrastructure, and data management to help athletes achieve world-class results.
