Brindisi rugby celebrates history and Serie B debut

An event dedicated to the history and future of rugby in Brindisi will take place on Saturday, October 17, at the ex Scuole Pie. The evening will feature the presentation of ‘Quella 127 gialla’, a book by Mario Spalluto that chronicles over 40 years of the city's rugby journey through anecdotes, historical documents, and photographs.

Following the book presentation, which includes speakers Mauro D’Attis and Oreste Pinto, the Appia Rugby Brindisi team will be presented ahead of their debut in Serie B. The club is scheduled to face Bari on Sunday, October 18, marking the start of their new competitive season.
