Brindisi to host Appia Day celebrations in October 2026

Brindisi will host a series of cultural activities from October 1 to 4, 2026, as part of the national ‘Appia Day’ celebrations. Organized by Aps Brindisi e le Antiche Strade, the event aims to highlight and valorize the historical route of the Via Appia within the modern city fabric.

The program includes a conference and tasting event titled ‘Viver sano sulla via Appia’ on October 1, held in collaboration with SlowFood Brindisi and Appia Wine Road. On October 2, a historical conference titled ‘L’Appia… sui passi della storia’ will feature historians and specialists in architectural restoration to discuss the heritage of the ancient road.
