Brisa becomes official Turkish distributor for Exide Technologies batteries

Brisa, a leading company in the Turkish tire sector, has entered into a strategic partnership with Exide Technologies to expand its presence in the battery market. Under this agreement, Brisa becomes the sole official distributor in Turkey for EXIDE-branded automotive, marine, and motorcycle products.

Building on its previous entry into the sector with the Voltedge brand, Brisa aims to strengthen its product portfolio by integrating Exide’s global technology. The distribution will be managed through Brisa’s Otopratik and Propratik service points, as well as a newly established specialized battery dealer network.

Brisa’s Deputy General Manager of Sales, Yakup Demir, stated that the company views the battery business as a strategic part of its product and service ecosystem. The partnership targets several segments, including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy-duty vehicle fleets, marine vessels, and motorcycles.
