Brisanet launches 5G mobile services in Brazil's Central-West

Brisanet has launched its 5G mobile services in Brazil's Central-West region, beginning operations in the Goiás municipalities of Acreúna and Hidrolândia. The expansion is part of the company's commitment to meet targets established during Anatel's 5G auction.

The company's strategy focuses on small and medium-sized cities to address digital infrastructure gaps and support the regional economy, particularly within the agribusiness sector. Brisanet aims to provide coverage to 115 municipalities in the Central-West by the end of 2027, including 62 in Goiás and 53 in Mato Grosso do Sul.

Service offerings include six mobile plans with data allowances ranging from 25 GB to 250 GB. These plans feature national roaming and unlimited data usage for specific applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Waze. This move marks the company's expansion from its original base in the Northeast into new territories.
