Brisbane Bullets add Max Mackinnon and Jaylin Williams to roster

Australian guard Max Mackinnon, a 22‑year‑old Brisbane native and son of former Bullets champion Sam Mackinnon, has signed a two‑year deal to return to the Brisbane Bullets after a Finals MVP performance at the Adidas Eurocamp and a productive NCAA career at Elon, Portland and LSU. Coach and president of basketball operations Will Weaver praised Mackinnon’s work ethic and high ceiling, noting his familiarity with the club’s pathway.

The Bullets also completed their NBL27 roster by signing 6’8” American forward Jaylin Williams. The 25‑year‑old averaged 13.7 points and 6.9 rebounds with the Sacramento Kings’ G League affiliate and set the all‑time games‑played record at Auburn, where he helped win the 2024 SEC Tournament. Weaver highlighted Williams’ versatility, size and basketball IQ as the final piece needed for the team’s campaign.
