Brisbane developers acquire key sites for $33 million

Significant real estate transactions are underway in Brisbane as developers acquire key sites for urban renewal. TRK Property Group has purchased a 1,917sqm mixed-use development site in South Brisbane for $20 million. Located at 176 Montague Road, the site is positioned within an emerging South Bank expansion area that is seeing increased investment, including nearby redevelopments by Lendlease and Stockwell.

In Fortitude Valley, the building housing the iconic nightclub The Beat has been sold to Sydney-based developers BENTINO for $13 million. The 1,200 square meter freehold site, which has been a fixture of the local scene since 1983, was acquired due to its significant future development potential. While the club currently generates approximately $900,000 in annual income, no public redevelopment plans have been announced for the site.
