Brisbane Roar announces signings of Isabel Hodgson and Tom Aldred

Brisbane Roar has announced two significant player additions ahead of the 2026/27 season. The club has signed experienced defender Isabel Hodgson as a free agent. Hodgson joins from Adelaide United, where she spent 11 seasons and served as club captain.

In the men's squad, former club captain Tom Aldred has completed an emotional return to Brisbane. Aldred, a 35-year-old central defender who previously played in England and Scotland, expressed his honor in returning to the club where he previously served as captain.
