Bristol airplane crash kills New Hampshire pilot

A single-engine airplane crash in Bristol, Maine, has resulted in the death of a 54-year-old pilot, identified as John Hall of Lee, New Hampshire.

The passenger, 21-year-old Tyler Hall, who is the son of the pilot, was transported to Maine Health Lincoln Hospital – Miles Campus in Damariscotta with non-life-threatening injuries.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. Local authorities, including the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, assisted in the investigation and recovery efforts.
