Bristol man jailed for non-recent sexual assault of a child
Martin Connelly, 45, has been sentenced to three years and four months in prison for the non-recent sexual assault of a child. The sentencing took place at Bristol Crown Court following a trial in June.
Connelly was found guilty of assault by touching. In addition to his custodial sentence, he will be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for the remainder of his life. During the proceedings, the victim provided a statement describing the long-term emotional impact of the assault.
