Bristol Myers Squibb launches European cycling relay for cancer fundraising
Bristol Myers Squibb has launched the ‘Country 2 Country 4 Cancer’ (C2C4C) cycling relay, a 2,200-kilometer journey spanning 18 days from Munich, Germany, to Uxbridge, United Kingdom. The initiative involves over 95 employees across Europe and aims to raise funds for organizations affiliated with the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
In the segment occurring between September 7 and 9, the Italian team ‘AzzurrInSella’ will ride over 300 kilometers alongside a Swiss team, traveling from Boudry, Switzerland, to Nimes, France.
Proceeds from this year’s relay will support the ‘Help-Line’ project by Tutor – Associazione Tumori toracici rari Aps Ets. This dedicated telephone service provides multidisciplinary consultations from specialists to assist patients diagnosed with rare thoracic tumors, such as thymoma and mesothelioma, as well as their caregivers.
