Bristol Pride 2026 launches with march, festival and detailed visitor guidelines

The 2026 Bristol Pride celebration begins on 11 July with a city‑centre march that gathers at Castle Park at 10:30 am and proceeds to the Harbourside before a shuttle transports participants to the main festival at Durdham Downs. Organisers expect roughly 40,000 people for a day of live music, multiple stages, food stalls, bars and family‑friendly areas. Tickets and photo ID are required; bags may not exceed A4 size and a long list of items – including glass, alcohol, weapons, drones, fireworks, self‑ie sticks and large umbrellas – is prohibited.

Attendees with wristband tickets receive free travel on FirstBus services, and dedicated shuttle buses run between the Amphitheatre and the Downs. Road closures and bus diversions affect central Bristol, Clifton and the Downs, with most closures lifted by 2 pm. There is no on‑site parking, and organisers encourage walking, e‑scooters or trains. Free water refill points are available, and all bars accept card payments only.
